Escape from Atlantis is a shoot-the-chute, a large water attraction in which visitors board 20-seater boats and travel a narrative course telling the search for the lost civilization of Atlantis. Among submerged temples, portals, stone warriors and giant statues, the ride culminates in two consecutive drops: the first from 12 meters, the second — the iconic one — from 17 meters.\n\nThe wave generated at the end of each drop hits both passengers and spectators on the bridge. Opened in 2003, it is one of the most beloved water attractions of the park, especially in the warm months.
